By accessing or using Writyn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not use another person's account without permission.

3. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Writyn. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your work as part of the collaborative stories on our platform.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
  • Attempt to manipulate voting or game the system
  • Use automated tools to access the service without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Share private personal information about others without consent
  • Create multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate the platform

5. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — Any sexual content involving minors, real or fictional
  • Terrorism and extremism — Content promoting terrorist organizations or violent extremism
  • Hate speech — Attacks on individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
  • Graphic violence — Detailed depictions of torture, gore, or gratuitous violence
  • Self-harm promotion — Content encouraging suicide, eating disorders, or self-injury
  • Real-world harmful instructions — Actual instructions for creating weapons, synthesizing drugs, or committing crimes (fictional depictions in stories are allowed)
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery — Real or AI-generated intimate images without consent
  • Doxxing — Publishing private information to harass or endanger others

We will report illegal content to appropriate law enforcement authorities. All characters depicted in romantic or intimate situations must be adults (18+).

6. Content Standards

All stories on Writyn should focus on romance themes. Content must be appropriate and should not include explicit adult content, hate speech, or gratuitous violence. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines. See our Community Guidelines for detailed content standards.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. Serious violations (CSAM, terrorism, doxxing) will result in immediate permanent termination. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

8. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that violates these terms, please report it immediately. We review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or reporting to law enforcement for illegal content.

9. Disclaimer

Writyn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for user-generated content or any damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
